Sample requirements
- Clearly identified sample
- Sufficient quantity and expected concentration
- Compound and matrix information, when known
- Suitable solubility for the selected measurement
- Reference spectrum, when comparison is requested
- Applicable SDS and safety information
Important limitations
- Extraction, purification, chromatographic separation, concentration, derivatization, and complex cleanup are not included.
- Deuterated solvents and specialized consumables may be charged separately.
- Benchtop NMR does not provide the resolution or specialized experiments available from high-field instruments.
- Routine ¹H NMR should not be treated as definitive structural confirmation in every case.
